CCNP Security Tips:
Here are five golden rules to clear the CCNP Security:
- KNOW YOUR CCNA BEST:
CCNP Security is just the in-depth knowledge of what you already learned it in the CCNA Security. That is why the CCNA Security is considered as one of the prerequisites for attempting CCNP Examination. CCNA Security Examination is going to set the foundation knowledge for the CCNP and you must also know your CCNA totally, in all aspects. Remember that until and unless, you are not clear with your CCNA Concepts, you wouldn’t be able to pass the CCNA Examination.
- HANDS-ON EXPERIENCE:
SO now you have cleared your CCNA Security Examination then you should know that no Cisco Examination would be able to clear without proper practical exposure. Cisco recommends you to have 1 to 3 years of experience before attempting for CCNP Examination. You may build a home lab or you may also get training in a Cisco networking Institute that has Cisco Training Labs with all the latest devices of Cisco. Cisco examinations are going to demand about 4 to 5 hours of Hands on Session a day on an average to get a grasp of its concepts and topologies. The concepts of CCNP must be grasped strongly and that you could only do if you practice a lot in the lab until you get.
The more your practice, the more will be your learn and then more confident you will feel.
- SINGLE-TOPIC AT A TIME:
Don’t just read the book from cover to cover, rather learning single topic at a time. Learn it, understand it and then practice on it and expertise it and then move onto the other topic. Do all the configurations yourself and practice on it till you get it. One Topic at a time will give you confidence and would help in the better preparation of the CCNP Security Examination. Don’t just rely on to one book, explore your options and learn accordingly. Do make sure that you are not wasting your time in just collecting information and not learning it. This will help you nowhere. Pick up a topic, grasp the entire concept, do your research and pick another one.
- LEARN THROUGH CISCO CERTIFIED CCNP SECURITY TRAINERS:
Learning from Cisco Certified CCNP Security Trainers. They will have the skills, experience, and knowledge to clear the examination. They would have to know what to train you on and how to train you. They can also help you out in setting your plan chart and will make you learn all the topics one by one. They would be having the experience that you are not having; as they have been through this path already. They would have all the knowledge about what to do and what not to do. Their skills and experience to keep them updated will help you a lot in a great deal. You can select from the wide range of the training provider, I have opted for the SPOTO CCIE Club, to enhance my results.
Lastly and very important, Relax! Yeah Relax, you need to take a day off once in a while. Don’t overload your brain along with all the networking. All this will do is creating a mess in your head about making you do all the silly mistakes on the questions of which you already have the correct answer.
So just take a break before going for the examination and have confidence in yourself. You have learned enough and you can do it.
Best of Luck!
